Our client, a well‑established manufacturing company in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all financial operations. This position is a critical part of the leadership team and will oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
SAP experience is mandatory
, as the role requires deep knowledge of SAP financial modules to drive accurate reporting and operational efficiency.

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including AP/AR, general ledger, cost accounting, and payroll.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Serve as the in‑house expert on SAP FI/CO modules.
• Ensure accuracy and optimization of SAP financial data flows and reporting.
• Partner with operations and IT to streamline processes and improve system utilization.

• Oversee cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory control.
• Monitor production costs, labor efficiency, and overhead allocations.
• Provide financial insights to support pricing, supply chain, and operational decision‑making.

• Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and company financial policies.
• Coordinate external audits and manage audit readiness throughout the year.
• Maintain strong internal controls and identify areas for improvement.

• Supervise and develop a high‑performing accounting team.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5–10+ years of accounting/controllership experience
  , ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Mandatory SAP experience
  —strong proficiency with SAP FI/CO is required.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and manufacturing financial processes.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to partner cross‑functionally.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
