About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist or Accounts Receivable Manager for our client based in King of Prussia, PA. This critical position serves as a critical bridge between finance, operations, and clients. This role goes beyond traditional AR management; it is about ensuring every financial interaction reinforces our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. You'll oversee the complete revenue cycle while partnering closely with leadership to align our financial operations with strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Revenue Cycle & Client Coordination- Serve as the primary point of coordination between clients, billing teams, and internal departments to ensure financial expectations are clearly set and consistently met
- Oversee end-to-end invoice processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism in all client-facing financial communications
- Act as a champion of the client experience, ensuring billing and payment interactions reinforce trust and long-term satisfaction
- Manage and optimize all Accounts Receivable functions, including collections strategies that prioritize maintaining strong client relationships
- Develop and execute proactive collection approaches that balance financial objectives with customer service excellence
- Monitor aging reports and implement effective follow-up procedures to optimize cash flow while preserving client goodwill
- Partner with the management team to align revenue operations with company goals and service standards
- Monitor revenue workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements that enhance both accuracy and client satisfaction
- Support forecasting, reporting, and analysis related to revenue trends, cash flow projections, and operational performance
- Ensure all financial practices comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes with timely reconciliations and reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Quick Books Desktop
- Expert knowledge of MS Office, with intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills
- Comfortable with Google Suite (Sheets and Docs) for collaboration and
- Experience with CRM and data management software to track client interactions and payment histories
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or revenue operations
- Proven track record managing Accounts Receivable and invoicing processes from end to end
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and GAAP
- Hands‑on experience with accounts payable/receivable processes and reconciliation
- Demonstrated ability to balance financial discipline with a customer‑first mindset
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client expectations diplomatically and effectively
- Collaborative leadership style with experience working alongside senior management to achieve shared objectives
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Problem‑solving orientation with a track record of implementing process improvements
- Experience in service‑based industries where client relationships are central to business success
- Background working in fast‑paced, growth‑oriented organizations
- Familiarity with revenue recognition principles and subscription or project‑based billing models
- Experience training or mentoring junior finance team members
