Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role is responsible for supporting strategic decision-making through financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and in-depth analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial results and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Partner with various departments (e.g., Sales, Operations, Marketing) to understand business performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Assist in the preparation of board presentations, investor materials, and strategic planning documents.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, processes, and reporting efficiency.
- Monitor KPIs, cash flow, and business metrics, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Lead or support special projects such as mergers and acquisitions, pricing strategy, and capital investments.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA a plus).
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Experience in [industry, e.g., technology, healthcare, manufacturing].
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Familiarity with data visualization and automation tools.
