POWER is hiring a General Manager of Engineering Services to join our leadership team. In this key role, you ll provide daily operational and technical support across Substation, Transmission, Distribution, and PMO teams—driving excellence, consistency, and scalable growth.

As General Manager of Engineering Services
, you ll serve as a cross-functional leader, bridging high-level strategy with day-to-day execution. In this leadership role you will work to ensure operational alignment, standardization, and technical excellence across all engineering functions.

• Provide hands-on support to department Directors to resolve technical challenges and maintain project excellence
• Standardize tools, workflows, and QA/QC processes across engineering groups
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations
• Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing between Substation, Transmission, Distribution, and PMO teams
• Mentor and coach Directors to improve operational outcomes and develop leadership capabilities
• Assist with complex project scopes, technical proposals, and pricing validation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on innovation, efficiency, and profitability
• Represent Execu
  
  POWER in client meetings and escalations requiring senior technical oversight
• Support resource planning and recruitment to align with business growth
• Serve as a key player in executing strategic initiatives, including the launch of new services and tools

Must-Have

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree (or higher) in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering or utility services
• Deep understanding of electric utility engineering across Substation, Transmission, and Distribution disciplines
• Experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams
• Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost recovery
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for both client-facing and internal collaboration
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed
