RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Project Engineer to join our Land Development team. This role plays a key part in managing the design and engineering of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, project coordination skills, and a solid understanding of site development, permitting processes, and local municipal requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Site layout and land development
- Commercial and residential planning
- Grading and utilities design
- Erosion and sedimentation control design
- Sanitary and stormwater piping design
- Horizontal and vertical roadway alignment
- Floodplain modeling and hydraulic Analysis
- B.S. in civil engineering or related field.
- EIT certificate required.
- 2-5 years of relevant engineering design experience.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D styles, surfaces a plus but not required.
- Proficient with site layout, grading, and profiling.
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite.
- Must have the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Experience with HEC-RAS a plus but not required.
- Must have good written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent presentation skills - must be comfortable presenting to clients and stakeholders.
