Civil Project Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Project Engineer to join our Land Development team. This role plays a key part in managing the design and engineering of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, project coordination skills, and a solid understanding of site development, permitting processes, and local municipal requirements.

• Site layout and land development
• Commercial and residential planning
• Grading and utilities design
• Erosion and sedimentation control design
• Sanitary and stormwater piping design
• Horizontal and vertical roadway alignment
• Floodplain modeling and hydraulic Analysis

• B.S. in civil engineering or related field.
• EIT certificate required.
• 2-5 years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D styles, surfaces a plus but not required.
• Proficient with site layout, grading, and profiling.
• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite.
• Must have the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Experience with HEC-RAS a plus but not required.
• Must have good written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent presentation skills - must be comfortable presenting to clients and stakeholders.
