POWER is seeking a Director of Substation Engineering to lead our growing Substation Department. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a licensed professional engineer with deep technical expertise, proven client development skills, and the vision to drive innovation in the utility industry. As Director, you ll set the strategic direction for the practice, lead high-profile utility projects, strengthen client partnerships, and mentor a high-performing engineering team.

• Provide strategic leadership for substation engineering projects and teams
• Drive business development and expand client relationships
• Deliver innovative engineering solutions to utility and power clients
• Oversee technical deliverables and ensure quality, safety, and compliance

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• Active PE license (multi-state preferred)
• 12+ years of progressive substation engineering experience
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role (consulting + client development)
• Strong technical expertise in substation design and delivery
• Business acumen with experience managing budgets and profitability
