- Strategic Discussion Leadership:
Lead strategic discussions, align your team to ensure quality and deadlines are met, and keep clients informed and engaged. - Problem-Solving and Project Execution:
Dive into problem-solving, manage budgets, refine proposals, and identify new opportunities while motivating your team to turn challenges into wins. - Leadership and Coordination:
Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serve as a technical leader to ensure project solution and quality goals are met. Manage client interactions and negotiate/control project scope to client and company satisfaction. Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients and act as a single point of contact for assigned projects. - Project Management Excellence:
Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to established schedule and within budget. Understand project schedules, project management plans, and manage project staff to ensure project requirements are met. Formulate/develop detailed project reports. Understand project financials and report regularly to management on financial status and overall project performance. - Strategic Growth and Innovation:
Work with technical staff to develop winning, highly technical engineering proposals. Support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up.
- Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in power facilities
- Minimum of 6 years experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an Engineer or Project Manager
- Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering (or related) OR PMP Certification and 10 years applicable experience
- PE license strongly preferred
- Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
- Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
- Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
- Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks
