Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Mechanical Engineering - Early Career. In this role, you will design and analyze hardware, support manufacture, and work to customer requirements. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the application of structural design and analysis and the design/analysis of hardware (CAD - Computer Aided Design) and/or FEM - Finite Element Analysis, Thermal Desktop, or similar.
Must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelors or Master's degree program from an accredited university or college majoring in mechanical, aeronautical/aerospace, or systems engineering
- Basic knowledge of software utilized in the design/analysis of hardware
- Classroom or work experience with the application of structural design and analysis
- Must be a US Citizen
- Basic application of mechanical and structural design in real-world/in-class applications.
- Basic knowledge of hardware applications in space environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Location and ScheduleAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
