This is a full‑time Senior Field Engineer role based in the Greater Philadelphia area with a well‑established MSP. You will work hands‑on across Microsoft, networking, virtualization, cloud, and on‑site client support environments, supporting small to mid‑size businesses with diverse technical needs.
Required Skills & Experience- 5–8+ years of experience working for an MSP
- Strong Windows Server, O365/Entra , and Azure experience
- Advanced networking skills (switching, routing, firewalls)
- VMware or Hyper‑V virtualization
- Experience handling on‑site client escalations and project work
- Certifications such as Network+, CCNA, MCSA, or AZ‑104
- Experience with backup and DR platforms (Veeam, Datto)
- Firewall experience (Sonic Wall, Fortinet, Cisco, or Palo Alto)
- Scripting or automation (Power Shell)
- Tech Breakdown – 70% Microsoft and Windows‑based systems, 30% Networking and virtualization
- Daily Responsibilities – 80% Hands On, 10% Management Duties, 10% Team Collaboration
