Join our team as a Systems Engineer to work on a team supporting the US Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Avionics Engineering.

Location:

This position does not support teleworking;the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility at one of the following locations:
• Titusville FL
• Littleton CO

Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a Systems Engineer to perform technical planning, system integration, requirements generation, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. To be effective in this role, you will need:
• 1+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Basic knowledge of Systems Engineering and requirement definition and verification.
• Active DoD secret or higher clearance. US Citizenship is required.
Desired

Skills:

• Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance

• Systems Engineering experience including design review support and documentation

• Model Based Systems Engineering methods and tools

• Experience with DOORS DXL or other requirement management tool

• Experience creating or revising technical system documentation
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years
