POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting enterprise initiatives through structured analysis, detailed documentation, and close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders. This role focuses on understanding current business processes, defining future-state solutions, and translating complex needs into clear, actionable requirements. This individual partners directly with business users, project teams, and vendors to document As-Is and To-Be processes, system dependencies, and functional requirements.
The Senior Business Analyst also identifies gaps, tracks issues, and delivers practical recommendations that drive efficiency, strengthen controls, and support high client satisfaction.
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business users and stakeholders
- Document As-Is and To-Be business processes, workflows, and system dependencies
- Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional requirements
- Serve as the primary liaison between business teams and project or technical teams
- Develop and maintain high-quality business analysis documentation and process flows
- Validate requirements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and stakeholder alignment
- Track tasks, action items, and deliverables through completion
- Identify process gaps, system issues, and opportunities for operational improvement
- Support audit preparation by documenting and validating functional requirements
- Provide clear, timely communication and status updates to project leadership
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst supporting complex projects or initiatives
- Proven ability to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements
- Solid understanding of business process analysis and documentation practices
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage work independently
- Experience creating process flows using Visio or equivalent tools
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience producing standard BA deliverables, including requirements documents, use cases, and traceability matrices
- Familiarity with documentation best practices, including version control and requirement tracking
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
