King of Prussia, PA | Hybrid (2 days on-site)

Contract Duration: 3–6 months (potential to extend or convert)

Soni’s client is seeking a Collections Specialist to provide administrative and customer support to the collections team by managing non-collection tasks and inbound customer communication. This role is designed to keep core collectors focused on outbound, dollar-collecting activity and is not a traditional collections position
. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist:
  • Send, print, and distribute invoice copies, including ad hoc invoices
  • Pull and provide contract documentation as requested
  • Submit credit memos, including late fee and finance charge adjustments across multiple periods
  • Update and maintain accurate customer and contact information
  • Perform administrative tasks within Salesforce, including account reassignments
  • Identify and flag delinquent accounts for collector follow-up
  • Post post-dated R12 payments on a daily basis
  • Communicate with customers via phone and written correspondence (non-aggressive)
  • Notify Account Managers regarding end-of-lease matters as needed
  • Scrub and confirm administrative assignments at the beginning of each month (Admin and C2)
  • Handle inbound calls and limited outbound dialing related to account support
  • Complete additional administrative duties as assigned by management
Required Qualifications of the Collections Specialist:
  • Administrative support and/or collections experience preferred
  • B2B experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills of the Collections Specialist:
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Quality-driven and results-oriented mindset
  • Comfort navigating multiple systems simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is a plus
Compensation:

$20 to $24 an hour
