Senior Accountant

We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to join a well-established, global consumer commerce organization that operates across video, digital, and social shopping platforms. This role is ideal for an accountant looking for stability, strong processes, and meaningful public-company experience—without the burnout of high-growth or PE-backed environments.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Prepare financial reports and support internal and external audits
• Assist with SOX documentation, testing, and internal control requirements
• Partner cross-functionally on projects and initiatives to ensure appropriate accounting treatment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally from public accounting or a mix of public and industry
• CPA required or actively working toward CPA completion
• Prior experience supporting a public company environment strongly preferred, including familiarity with public reporting requirements
• Must be within a reasonable commuting distance of the office (approximately within one hour)
• Strong hands-on experience with month-end close processes
