Responsibilities:

Responsible for individual and group counseling for Residential treatment. Ability to conduct intake and assessments including treatment plans for individuals. Serving the special needs of program participants and individuals. Facilitate groups for participants in a residential treatment program. Activities are designed to support environmental change for individual recovery in a Social Model setting using evidenced-based curriculum (Matrix).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience working with adults in the alcohol and drug addiction field.
• Must be familiar with Medi-CAL & ASAM criteria and EHR (Electronic Health Records) via AVATAR.
• Approved amount of time in continuous sobriety.
• State alcohol/drug counseling certification required (may be registered, pending certification).
