FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME) – Chartwells K12

We are hiring immediately for full time and part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions. Schedule options include 8:30 am to 2:30 pm or 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. Days may vary. More details upon interview.

Pay Range: $14.00 per hour to $15.00 per hour. Prior food service experience is preferred.

Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

• Performs cashiering duties and sales transactions; enters sales into the cash register and issues receipts; makes change and accepts acceptable forms of payment (including declining balance cards).
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables; weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator; distributes supplies and utensils.
• Stores foods in designated areas with proper wrapping, dating, and rotation; cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements; uses approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolves customer issues in a service-oriented way.
• Relays relevant information to supervisors and performs other duties as assigned.

• Prior food service experience is preferred.
