We are looking for an enthusiastic and student‑centered Lecturer to join our Curriculum, bringing strong academic knowledge, practical teaching experience, and the personal qualities that help learners thrive.
Responsibilities- Teach Business, Accounting, and Administration & IT with relevant qualifications, and demonstrate current and comprehensive knowledge of these subject areas to learners at a range of SCQF levels.
- Promote inclusive practice by identifying and bridging learning gaps, encouraging participation, and providing constructive and timely feedback; focus on maximising retention, achievement and attainment.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills, including effective lesson planning, assessment design, marking, and a working understanding of internal quality assurance processes (e.g., internal verification and continuous improvement).
- Utilise Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams) to support teaching, assessment and communication within the College’s digital learning environment.
- Uphold professionalism, integrity and ethical conduct; maintain confidentiality, transparency and fair, consistent assessment practices in line with sector guidelines.
- Engage in continuous professional development and reflective practice as part of the role.
