Why HGV Drivers Are ImportantWe rely on our HGV Drivers to make sure products get to our customers when they need them. You’ll be making sure our stock in the yard and warehouse is easily accessible to be picked, loaded, and delivered in our lorries. Working in one of our branches you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.
Responsibilities- Provide an efficient and dependable delivery service to our customers.
- Build great relationships with customers out on the road and represent our brand.
- Keep up to date with all Health & Safety legislation and administration relating to your role (tachographs, training, delivery notes etc).
- Look after our vehicles, carrying out appropriate checks on a routine basis.
- Support with incoming deliveries, making sure stock in the yard & warehouse is put away correctly and kept tidy in line with Health & Safety guidelines.
- Class 2 HGV driving licence (essential).
- Experience in a similar role a plus.
- Good drivers' record.

We’ll support you to gain your HIAB certification if you don’t already have it. Training will be provided by us, and you’ll become fully qualified to operate HIAB equipment. A training agreement will apply, meaning if you leave the business within a set period after completing the training, you’ll be required to repay the cost.
