Position: Business Development Manager (Healthcare Technology)

MiHealth Solutions, part of the employee owned Microtech Group, is growing — and we’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help expand our footprint across Scotland.

About the Role

You’ll lead business development activity across Scotland, focusing on new business acquisition, strategic relationship building, and account management. Your work will be central to driving adoption of MiHealth solutions across Health Boards and primary care providers. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales instincts, excellent communication skills, and experience in healthcare or IT solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify potential healthcare clients across Scotland
  • Build targeted outreach campaigns to generate new opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Act as a trusted advisor, aligning MiHealth solutions to real-world needs
  • Develop strategic account plans to meet revenue targets
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and proposals
  • Negotiate and close long-term partnerships
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Work closely with internal teams to shape client‑fit solutions
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience in business development or account management
  • Experience in healthcare technology or IT services (advantageous)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of healthcare workflows and digital solutions
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • CRM experience & proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence
