Project Coordinator – Hotels & Refurbishment Based in Kilmarnock, Scotland

Spencer Richardson is proud to be partnering with a leading hospitality business to recruit a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of refurbishment and development projects across their growing hotel portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, quality-led business delivering refurbishment and fit-out projects within live hotel environments.

The Role

Reporting to the Property Director, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to brand standards.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating hotel refurbishment and fit-out projects
  • Acting as the central point of contact between contractors, suppliers, site teams and internal stakeholders
  • Chasing contractors for quotes, lead times, progress updates and snagging completion
  • Supporting tender processes and comparing contractor and supplier quotes
  • Procuring small wares, fixtures, fittings and equipment (FF&E)
  • Raising and tracking purchase orders in line with company procedures
  • Monitoring budgets and identifying risks, overspends or savings opportunities
  • Maintaining project documentation, trackers and cost reports
  • Supporting snagging, handover documentation and project close-out
About You

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator (ideally within hospitality, hotels or leisure)
  • Strong procurement and purchasing experience
  • Experience supporting refurbishment or fit-out projects
  • Confidence managing contractors and suppliers
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience working on live hospitality sites and familiarity with hotel operations and FF&E purchasing would be advantageous.
