Food Prep Person

Our franchise organization, Corral Holdings dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!

The quality, quantity, freshness, tastiness, and presentation of our products significantly impact guests' perceptions of Golden Corral. The Food Prep Person is responsible for preparing (cutting, slicing, peeling, etc.) all fresh fruits and vegetables used in Golden Corral. The freshness of our Cold Choice Buffet reflects our commitment to high-quality, fresh offerings.

Operational Excellence:

• Prepares prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes.
• Maintains a standard inventory of prep items per the Prep Production Guide and updates as directed by management.
• Ensures optimal yield of products through the product cycle.
• Labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Stores all food items in approved, covered containers.
• Follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
• Notifies the Manager of discrepancies such as spoilage, invoice errors, waste, or non-compliance with specifications.
• Assists the Buffet Attendant in maintaining a full, clean buffet.
• Cleans, maintains, and organizes the prep area, including coolers, equipment, and dry storage.
• Follows duty roster and ensures cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
• Adheres to just-in-time delivery responsibilities.
• Follows all local health department laws.

Guest Service:

• Performs administrative tasks and assists guests during meal periods.
