PCSI is looking for Laborer grounds Maintenance on Ft. Hood. This position performs a variety of ground maintenance functions in a variety of skilled and semi-skilled craft trads to support assigned contract.

Typical work hours will be Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

What you'll do as a Laborer Grounds Maintenance:
- Perform a variety of grounds maintenance functions in a variety of skilled and semi-skilled craft trades to support assigned contract.
- Assist in the planning, layout and completion of modifications and repairs.
- Assist in the accomplishment of minor grounds maintenance tasks which must be performed to proficiency.
- Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of grounds equipment.
What you'll Need:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of prior experience in grounds keeping or landscaping preferred
Skills and Abilities
:
- Ability to climb, bend, squat, lift and carry objects ranging from 10-60 pounds;
Occasionally push objects up to 100 pounds; prolong walking up to 90%. - Knowledge of methods used in grounds keeping, including use of all types of lawn equipment.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and speed in work performed.
- Ability to read, understand, and complete incoming work orders.
- Ability to understand and follow policies, procedures and regulations as needed.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in written format.
- Ability to work as a team member and develop effective working relationships with other staff and clients.
- Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
- Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
- Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
- Possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.
- If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
