A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.

In Killeen, Texas, explore the vibrant Vive Les Arts Theatre for live performances or visit the Lions Club Aquatics Park for family-friendly water activities and fun.

This is a Monday through Friday schedule with 5x8s from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The facility is a community hospital running an average of 6.8 points of service daily, including 4 ORs, 1 OB, and 2 Endo rooms. The team includes 4 MDs and 8 CRNAs, operating under a care team model that is medically directed but functions more like medical supervision.

Case types include OB (120130 deliveries/month), light peds (ENT), ortho, ophthalmology, general bread and butter, and endoscopy. Call is home pager call with a 30-minute callback radius1 CRNA takes call at a time, with an MD as backup. Post-call day off is guaranteed, and call is taken 36 times per month, with every 6th or 8th weekend on call. The schedule follows a waterfall-style release order, typically not extending past 7 PM.

The day starts with 5 rooms open, decreasing to 2 rooms at 3 PM, and eventually down to 1 room covered by the on-call CRNA.
