CT Technologist – Advent Health

Location: 2201 S CLEAR CREEK RD, Killeen, Texas 76549
Schedule: Part time – Saturday 7:00 AM‑7:30 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM‑7:30 PM
Job DescriptionShift: Saturday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM.
- Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
- Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time‑out procedures prior to starting exams.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
- Educates patients about the exam and completes all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
- Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
Education:
Bachelor’s or High School Graduate or equivalent (Required).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Computed Tomography (ARRT‑CT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body.
- Basic Life Support – CPR Certificate (BLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.
-CERT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body. - Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body.
- Medical Radiation Technology – IEMA (MRT‑IEMA) – EV Accredited Issuing Body.
- Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body.
- Radiologic Technologist – License (RT‑LIC) – Accredited Issuing Body.
- Registered Technologist – Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) – EV Accredited Issuing Body.
