JOB SUMMARY:
The Registered Radiologic Technologist is responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to patients for diagnostic purposes and fulfilling the goals and objectives of Advanced Pain Care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Current registration with ARRT and successful completion of Basic Life Support
- Three to five years of radiologic technologist experience preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of X-ray equipment
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with complex computers and machinery
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions under pressure
- Ability to manage time well
- Ability to handle confidential patient information
- Ability to document accurately and precisely
- Ability to produce high quality images consistently

Physical Requirements
Good visual acuity, accurate color vision. Ability to lift/transfer patients in excess of 100 pounds, which may require pushing, pulling, and essentially utilizing a full range of body movement. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. Ability to reach, grasp, use fine finger movement and feel fine sensation to discern temperature, texture, size and shape. Computer skills preferred.
