Emergency Medicine Physician

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a 30-bed Emergency Department with over 50,000 annual visits
. The departmentoperates as a Level IV Trauma Center
, managing a wide spectrum ofmedical and trauma cases.

Schedule & Work Structure:

• Flexible scheduling withfour physician shift types:
  Day
  , AM Swing
  , PM Swing and Night
• Ability to work 3consecutive shifts for improved consistency and work-life balance

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, andtreat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Manage high-acuity andtrauma cases in a Level IV trauma setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, high-quality care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence

Qualifications:

• ABEM board-eligible orboard-certified in Emergency Medicine
• Board-Certified or Board-Trained in Emergency Medicine
• Eligible for unrestrictedmedical licensure in Texas
• Strong clinical judgment andability to thrive in a high-volume environment
