Killeen Ford is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for a senior-level technician who can handle advanced diagnostics, complex mechanical repairs, and serve as a leader in the shop.
ResponsibilitiesPerform in-depth diagnostics and advanced repairs across all major vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, drive trains, and electrical systems
Oversee warranty repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
Road-test vehicles and utilize diagnostic equipment to verify repairs
Mentor and support B-Level and entry-level technicians
Accurately document all repair work and communicate with service advisors on progress and additional needs
Stay up to date with Ford and ASE training requirements
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience preferred
Ford certifications strongly preferred
Proven track record in advanced diagnostics and complex repair work
Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lead by example and mentor junior technicians
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent required
