As a Tax Associate you will receive expert training and work with a dedicated team. Your day involves:

• Conducting tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and through virtual tools—video, phone, chat, and email.
• Preparing complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generating business growth by retaining clients and offering additional products and services.
• Providing clients with IRS support.
• Collaborating with office teams to achieve office priorities.
• Growing your tax expertise throughout the season.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
• Ability to work a minimum of 25–35 hours weekly during tax season, up to 40 hours during peak weeks.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
• Comfort with virtual tools—video, phone, and chat.
• Effective communication in person, via phone, and in writing.
• High school diploma or equivalent (or higher).
• Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
