Youth Minister

About Us: Forest Home Baptist Church is a vibrant and welcoming community with a congregation of approximately 300 active members. We are deeply committed to fulfilling the Great Commission, making disciples, and engaging in outreach. Our church is actively involved in the local community, partnering with schools, organizations, and various outreach programs to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee all aspects of the youth ministry, including planning and executing weekly youth services, Bible studies, and special events.
- Teach God’s word effectively, helping youth understand and apply biblical principles in their lives.
- Create safe and welcoming environments where all youth feel valued and included.
- Build and mentor a leadership team to support the youth ministry.
- Disciple youth, guiding them in their spiritual growth and development.
- Build strong relationships with youth and their families, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Connect with local schools and community organizations to foster partnerships and outreach opportunities.
- Integrate the youth ministry with the broader church community, ensuring alignment with church goals and activities.
- Provide spiritual guidance and counsel to youth, helping them navigate life’s challenges.
- Have fun and enjoy spending time with students, creating an engaging and dynamic youth ministry.
- A strong personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ.
- Experience in youth ministry or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to connect with and inspire young people.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- A heart for prayer and a dedication to seeking God’s will for the ministry.
- Enthusiasm for building relationships and engaging with the community.
