Job Purpose
Manages the organization, productivity and assets of the Service Department to obtain maximum efficiency and profitability. Supervises Foreman, Leaderman, Administrative Assistant privacidad? (rest omitted).>
Responsibilities- Adheres to and utilizes the established Service Department management operating system for assigned work.
- Measures productivity.
- Increases output, evaluates performance and tracks mileage.
- Develops and maintains a training program for all Service Department employees.
- Establishes departmental goals relevant to each shop activity or department and monitors performance on a monthly basis.
- Meets with District Manager and Parts Manager at least monthly for reviewing activities, financial reports, problems, progress and mutual needs.
- Monitors the capabilities of the entire department regarding customer needs and service requirements for equipment being utilized in the territory.
- Maintains close contact and good relations with customers, may include onsite visits.
- Administers safety program in accordance with existing company, state and federal guidelines.
- Conducts a monthly safety meeting and completes required reports.
- Prepares and adheres to the company Salary Plan to provide a timely Performance Review and an equitable increase program.
- Performs other duties or functions as requested by Management.
- Promotes positive and professional relationships with all company personnel and between its divisions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- GED.rv or High School Diploma.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years previous supervisory experience of service personnel.
- Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours and days.
- Must be proficient with Windows base environment (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook).
- Must be dependable and able to work independently.
- Must maintain good client relations.
- Must maintain professional attitude.
- Must maintain professional appearance.
- Must have the ability to travel and stay overnight (as necessary).
- Must have the ability to supervise and motivate others.
- Must have the ability to effectively evaluate others.
- Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.
- Must be able to protect the company possibile assets and interests.
- Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Weekend hours as necessary.
