We are seeking an ambitious Accountant to join our Kilgore team during this exciting expansion.   You will supervise one AP/AR clerk and work directly with the Controller to manage plant-level financial integrity.

• General Ledger & Reporting:
  Maintain the general ledger, prepare and post journal entries, and assist with internal financial statements.
• Reconciliations:
  Perform monthly, quarterly, and year‑end account reconciliations to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Operational Support:
  Support month‑end and year‑end close processes while assisting with inventory accounting and fixed asset tracking.
• Audit & Compliance:
  Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls; assist with internal and external audits.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with the Plant Controller and operational teams to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; manufacturing background is strongly preferred.
• Software:
  Proficiency in Quick Books is essential. Experience with M1 ERP is a major plus.
• Skills:
  
  Strong understanding of GAAP, advanced Excel skills, and a high level of professionalism when handling confidential data.
• Leadership: A confident communicator who is comfortable supervising staff and speaking with vendors even in stressful situations.

• Compensation: $52,000 – $85,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
• Schedule:
  
  Full‑time, M‑F in‑office in Kilgore, TX.
