An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer - Electrical Systems to join our Engineering department.

About

The Role

Lead the development of defined technical areas or subsystems within a programme, providing technical expertise and mentoring to junior engineers.

What you will do
  • Own delivery of significant work packages or subsystems within a project.
  • Develop and validate engineering designs, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Mentor and support Engineers within the team.
  • Lead problem‑solving and root‑cause investigations.
  • Interface with other disciplines to ensure design integration and coherence.
  • Provide input to project planning, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Develop schematics as well as system, network and harness drawings and IO documents
  • Function development for control systems
  • Create manufacturing packs and test procedures; support factory/site acceptance tests.
About You
  • Degree‑qualified (or equivalent) engineer with adequate experience.
  • Proven experience in system or component‑level design.
  • Experience in CAN and Ethernet communication and related tools.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of configuration, safety, and quality systems.
  • Experience in leading small teams or technical tasks.
