Warehouse Operative

We are now seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our clients growing team.

The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the warehouse operations, including receiving materials, picking and packing orders, stock control, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming raw materials.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately according to order sheets and production schedules.
• Load and unload deliveries safely using manual handling techniques or forklift equipment (if qualified).
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory control.
• Ensure proper labelling and documentation of goods.
• Work closely with production and dispatch teams to meet order deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse in line with health and safety standards.
• Follow company policies on quality control, traceability, and environmental standards.
• Report damaged goods, stock discrepancies, or potential safety issues to the supervisor promptly.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy materials safely.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills (experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous).

• Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach Truck)
