Salary: £45,000 basic per annum – OTE £47,000

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Workshop Supervisor to lead a late-shift team. This role combines hands-on vehicle repair with supervisory responsibilities, supporting technicians and ensuring efficient, high-quality work throughput.

Key Responsibilities as a Workshop Supervisor:
Perform major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and other vehicles
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance services (tyre rotations, oil changes, etc.)
Support and supervise repair teams, helping diagnose and plan repairs efficiently
Maintain workshop inventory and cleanliness, including safe handling of oil and dust
Keep accurate records of all vehicles repaired or serviced
Provide emergency repair services for clients when required
Complete necessary documentation, including warranty claims or escalation to management
Requirements of the Workshop Supervisor:
Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI Qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
Ability to identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA standards
Current, full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes
Strong leadership and team-support skills
Hands-on experience with HGVs and trailers
