An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused and strategically driven Multi-Utility Operations Director to play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of operational growth and excellence.
This role offers the chance to lead large-scale, multi-utility operations across electricity, gas, water, and telecommunications infrastructure — driving performance, innovation, and sustainable growth in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

The Role- Provide full operational leadership across all multi-utility service lines.
- Drive safety, compliance, and performance standards across complex, multi-site operations.
- Lead strategic transformation initiatives, including digitalisation and process optimisation.
- Establish clear KPIs and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and service quality.
- Oversee workforce strategy, large-scale programme delivery, and resource planning.
- Manage significant operational budgets with a focus on cost control and ROI.
- Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Develop and inspire high-performing, accountable leadership teams.
- Proven executive or senior leadership experience within utilities, infrastructure, or construction.
- Strong understanding of multi-utility networks and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated success leading large teams and complex operational environments.
- Commercially astute with strong financial oversight experience.
- Track record of delivering growth, operational turnaround, or transformation programmes.
- A confident decision-maker who leads from the front and drives a culture of excellence.
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH, PRINCE2, APM) advantageous
