Full Time, 35-40 hours per week

Shifts

Flexible - 7 days a week, from 8am to 8:30pm. Occasional nights and weekends.

Salary

£14.80 - £16.20 per hour
Level 5 Qualified Salary: £15.30 - £16.70 per hour

Honeybrook House provides care and support for up to 10 adults with learning disabilities and autism in a calm and welcoming environment on the outskirts of Kidderminster. Our peaceful setting offers convenient access to local amenities, with the town centre just five minutes away and excellent public transport options nearby.

About

The Role

As a Deputy Manager at HBH, you will work alongside another experienced Deputy Manager to provide high-quality support and leadership. You will oversee a team of dedicated support workers and ensure that the individuals we care for receive the best possible care and attention, every day. Your expertise and hands‑on approach will help us meet the diverse and complex needs of the people we support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and motivating a team of support workers
  • Ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented and updated as needed
  • Working closely with the wider team to ensure consistency in care delivery
  • Managing shift patterns and overseeing staff performance
  • Ensuring individuals’ needs are met in accordance with their personal plans
  • Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders
  • Supporting the team with complex needs related to physical health and behaviours that challenge

  • Has experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Is dynamic, adaptable, and ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role
  • Has a hands‑on approach and the ability to lead a team
  • Has a strong understanding of complex health needs and behaviours that challenge
  • Has experience of working flexible hours (days, nights, and weekends)
  • Is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with complex needs
