Join Circet UK - Supporting Infrastructure Excellence

Circet UK is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to support our commercial team within our telecoms and infrastructure projects. Main responsibilities of the role include producing and submitting contract sums (tenders), managing them through to approval, and attending weekly client calls regarding contract sum progress.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Producing contract sums from client scope documents and reviewing the Detailed Design
  • Submitting the Contract Sums within the deadline and taking ownership of managing through to approval in a timely manner
  • Attending weekly client calls, developing good working relationships with client QSs
  • Reviewing client reports, managing the incoming scope documents and communicating to the project team as necessary
  • Working closely with the project team regarding scope queries and obtaining supplier quotes
  • Reviewing and locking site budgets in ‘Sitelive’, ensuring all costs have been captured and an accurate revenue forecast has been added to generate the anticipated budgeted site margin
  • Once works are planned/in progress, ensuring variations are captured and client approval obtained
  • Assisting with the preparation of final accounts
  • Attending meetings with project teams and commercial
  • Updating the operational system ‘Sitelive’
  • Providing general commercial support and supporting other team members as required, including holiday cover
What You’ll Need
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Commercial understanding and awareness
  • Competence in Excel with experience of using lookup formulas
  • Relationship‑building skills and effective communication, including telephone manner and email etiquette
  • Basic understanding of telecommunications with the ability to read Detail Designs
  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop in a commercial / QS environment
