Salary £22,478.40

Working hours 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours)

Contract Full‑time, term‑time only, permanent

Location Kidderminster, Worcestershire

• Support students to learn and make progress in lessons.
• Assist the teacher/tutor in the preparation of work.
• Support students during school‑based and community‑based learning.
• Ensure students make progress in formal learning situations as well as with self‑help skills, life skills, and social understanding.

We provide induction and ongoing training and there are opportunities to develop your career.

• Experience is not essential; we will give all training and support. However, a teaching assistant qualification and relevant classroom support work could lead to a higher starting salary.
• A teaching assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Knowledge of autism and/or special educational needs
• Well‑developed organisation and communication skills
• Ability to work flexibly in relation to tasks undertaken
• Good team player

• No criminal record relevant to safety and welfare of students.
• Clean current car driving licence (where minibus driving required)
• Experience of working effectively as part of a team.
• Experience of relating positively to children/young people.
• Experience of successful relevant learning support work is preferable, but not essential.
