Role SummaryThe Supply Chain Coordinator professional is crucial to our operations, ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain processes. This role involves raising work orders, following production plan adherence, maintaining accurate data, and creating Sales Orders and Purchase Orders.
Key Responsibilities- Raising Work Orders:
Generate and issue work orders based on production schedules and demands. - Production Plan Adherence:
Monitor and ensure adherence to production plans, making necessary adjustments as required. - Data Maintenance:
Maintain and update accurate data in relevant systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. - Supplier Coordination:
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, addressing any issues that may arise to prevent production delays. - Creating Sales Orders:
Initiate and process sales orders, ensuring all details are accurate and complete. - Creating Purchase Orders:
Generate purchase orders for required materials and services, following company protocols and vendor agreements. - Liaising with Shop‑Floor:
Communicate with shop‑floor personnel to gather real‑time data, ensuring current and accurate reflections in the MRP system.
- Previous experience in a planning or procurement role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MRP systems and data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel experience required).
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry trends.
- Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced and dynamic work environment.
