Job Summary:

The Vehicle Inbound/Receiving Officer manages the receipt, inspection, and organization of vehicles arriving at a stockyard. This role ensures accurate documentation, quality checks, and efficient placement of vehicles for storage or distribution.

• Verify incoming vehicles against shipping documents.
• Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and record findings.
• Log vehicle details (e.g., VIN, make, model) into inventory systems.
• Coordinate with delivery drivers and stockyard staff for smooth operations.
• Tag and park vehicles in designated stockyard areas.
• Report discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
• Follow safety and stockyard protocols.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid drivers license (preferred).
• Experience in stockyard or automotive logistics is a plus.
