This position reports to:

Area Sales Manager. MODP - Local Division Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of products and solutions within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

The work model for the role is: (onsite/hybrid).

This role is contributing to the Drive Products Division in Saudi Arabia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating value proposition to customers.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role
  • You enjoy working with people, approaching new customers, and are enthusiastic about motion control for various applications.
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in sales and account management.
  • 5 years of experience in drives. Experience in PLC, automation, and LV MCC will be a plus.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of CRM tools (example: Salesforce).
  • You are passionate about supporting, retaining, and developing sales channels in a multi‑stakeholder type of business.
  • Degree in electrical/electronics engineering with a proven track record of sales and business development.
  • You are at ease communicating in Arabic and English.
  • You hold a current work license valid in Saudi Arabia.
