The Sr Broker, MENA is responsible for developing the KSA facultative portfolio by fostering organic growth, prospecting new business opportunities, identifying relevant markets, and providing innovative solutions to address key issues faced by KSA clients and cedants. The incumbent will define appropriate solutions, structure, pricing, and placement strategies to meet client needs and secure profitable business across a range of clients.

The Sr Broker will negotiate placements, maintain strong reinsurance market relationships, and collaborate with colleagues to maximize account penetration and cross-selling opportunities. This role requires in-depth market knowledge, business development capabilities, and a customer-centric approach to delivering high-quality solutions.

• Develop the KSA facultative portfolio through organic growth, prospecting new business opportunities, and creating solutions for clients and cedants within KSA.
• Structure, price, and implement placement strategies that address client needs and deliver profitable outcomes.
• Negotiate cost-effective placements and foster relationships with the reinsurance market.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects including prospect research, initial outreach, meetings, and new business presentations.
• Collaborate with Head of Facultative – KSA and Aon colleagues to identify business development opportunities and drive account penetration and cross-selling.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of relevant products and services offered by Aon Re.
• Evolve and nurture relationships with underwriters in DIFC and international markets.
• Work with the team on pricing and designing conceptual facility programs.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Property Insurance, specifically in Direct or Facultative Broking, or Underwriting.
• Expertise across retail, reinsurance, and retrocession property and/or construction placements; experience in Power, Energy, Marine or other business classes an advantage.
• Demonstrated history of successful reinsurance relationship management.
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding client service and cultivate client relationships.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with understanding of organizational strategy.
• Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to manage ambiguity, encourage inclusivity, and achieve consensus.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing capability.
• Ability to prioritize workload, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
• Aptitude for explaining complex concepts and providing recommendations to both clients and internal servicing teams.
