Our client is a global FMCG leader with a world-class portfolio of iconic brands and a powerful presence across international markets. With a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and consumer-centric growth, the company is entering a new era of strategic expansion across the Middle East and Africa.

As part of this growth journey, they are seeking a visionary and commercially astute Regional Head of Marketing – MEA to join the regional leadership team, based in Riyadh, KSA. This is a pivotal opportunity to shape brand strategy, lead innovation, and accelerate growth in one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-evolving consumer markets.

The Role

The Regional Head of Marketing – MEA will be responsible for designing and executing the end-to-end marketing strategy across multiple categories and geographies. Leading a talented team and working in close partnership with global, regional, and local stakeholders, you will play a critical role in building brand equity, driving portfolio performance, and delivering exceptional business results.

This is a strategic leadership position that requires a balance of long-term vision and operational excellence — from driving innovation pipelines to overseeing go-to-market strategies that resonate with diverse consumer segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Shape and implement the regional marketing strategy to drive brand growth, market share, and competitive advantage across MEA.
  • Brand Management: Lead the brand portfolio strategy, ensuring local relevance while maintaining global consistency and positioning.
  • Innovation & NPD: Oversee the end-to-end innovation pipeline, from concept to launch, ensuring successful rollouts tailored to consumer needs.
  • Consumer Insights: Champion a data-driven approach to marketing, leveraging insights to inform strategy, communications, and commercial decisions.
  • Digital & Omnichannel Growth: Accelerate digital transformation initiatives, building integrated marketing strategies that enhance consumer engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with commercial, supply chain, finance, and sales teams to deliver aligned, high-impact outcomes.
  • Leadership & People Development: Build, inspire, and develop a high-performing regional marketing team, fostering innovation and performance excellence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the MEA region at global forums and influence global decision-making to support regional priorities.
Candidate Profile

We are seeking a forward-thinking, strategic marketing leader with a proven record of delivering transformative results within the FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of commercial acumen, strategic creativity, and leadership capability, alongside a deep understanding of MEA markets.

Requirements:

  • 12–15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience within FMCG.
  • Proven success managing brand portfolios and leading innovation across multiple MEA markets.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to translate consumer insights into business growth strategies.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, omnichannel, and data-led decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience developing and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Experience operating within a global matrix structure.
  • Fluency in English is essential;
    Arabic is a strong advantage.
Why This Role?

This is a rare opportunity to join a global FMCG leader during a period of significant growth and strategic transformation. You will have the autonomy, resources, and influence to shape the future of some of the world’s most iconic brands across one of the fastest-growing consumer regions on the planet.
