The BI Engineer will play a vital role in transforming financial data into meaningful insights through advanced analytics, reporting automation, and data visualization. This role supports strategic decision-making across financial services and fintech operations by ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high‑quality reporting frameworks.

As a BI Engineer, you will work with large-scale datasets, financial products, and transactional systems to design, automate, and enhance reporting and analytics solutions. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams in risk, finance, and business operations to deliver dashboards, predictive insights, and regulatory reports. Using SQL, Python, data warehousing tools, and BI platforms, you will ensure data integrity and streamline reporting processes.

This role requires strong financial domain understanding, technical depth, and the ability to communicate complex analyses to diverse business stakeholders.

• ✓ Design, develop, and automate reporting solutions across financial and operational domains.
• ✓ Work with large, complex datasets to extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL, Python, and Pandas.
• ✓ Build dashboards and visualizations using BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• ✓ Support regulatory reporting processes and ensure compliance with financial industry standards.
• ✓ Conduct data quality checks, troubleshoot reporting issues, and optimize data workflows.
• ✓ Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Risk, Finance, Product, and Operations.
• ✓ Present analytical findings and insights to business and leadership teams.

• ✓ Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Data Analytics, Finance, or related fields.
• ✓ 4–6 years of experience in BI, MIS, or data analytics within financial services, fintech, or banking.
• ✓ Track record of automating reporting processes and working with large datasets.
• ✓ Advanced SQL skills with strong Python and Pandas proficiency.
• ✓ Experience with data warehousing concepts and BI platforms (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• ✓ Strong financial domain knowledge—products, transactions, and risk reporting.
• ✓ Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• ✓ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross‑functionally.

• ✓ Master’s degree or certifications such as CBIP, CFA, FRM, or analytics credentials.
• ✓ Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks in financial institutions.
• ✓ Experience in building scalable data models and ETL pipelines.
• ✓ Exposure to cloud‑based data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
