This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Manager located in Al Khobar. The Accounting Manager will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, manage journal entries, ensure accurate reporting of fixed assets, and monitor financial processes. They will also implement best practices to support accurate and timely financial reporting, comply with regulatory requirements, and contribute to financial planning and decision-making for the organization.
FinancialManagement & Accounting
- Manage the firm’s accounting and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee general ledger management, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Monitor company expenses and ensure adherence to the approved budget.
- Support the preparation of financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and budgets.
- Prepare and submit financial and regulatory reports required by the Capital Market Authority (CMA).
- Monitor the firm’s capital adequacy and financial position in accordance with CMA requirements.
- Ensure financial operations remain compliant with CMA regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate with Compliance, external auditors, and regulators when required.
- Manage company banking relationships and accounts.
- Supervise payment approvals, vendor settlements, and expense processing.
- Monitor cash balances and liquidity requirements.
- Oversee certain administrative and operational matters within the firm including:
- Office administrative coordination
- Vendor and service provider management
- Procurement and operational expenses monitoring
- HR administrative coordination (payroll processing, employee records, etc.)
- Support senior management with operational reporting and internal coordination.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Ensure compliance with ZATCA requirements including VAT, withholding tax, and zakat filings.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all financial activities.
- Maintain strong internal financial controls and documentation standards.
- Ensure proper approval workflows and segregation of duties.
- Support the implementation of finance policies and operational procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CME-1 (Capital Market Authority certification) – Mandatory
- SOCPA / CPA / ACCA / CMA (preferred but not mandatory).
- 5-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
- At least 3-5 years within financial services, investment firms, or capital market institutions.
- Experience working within a CMA-licensed entity or regulated financial institution is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting and financial controls in the Saudi capital markets environment.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting (IFRS).
- Familiarity with CMA regulatory environment.
- Strong financial analysis and budgeting capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and administrative management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain financial accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple operational responsibilities simultaneously.
