Investment Operations Associate

Role Description

The Investment Operations Associate supports Wisayah’s investment activities by ensuring the smooth execution of operational, trading, and data‑management processes. The role acts as a key link between front‑office investment teams, custodians, external managers, and internal stakeholders. This position is essential in maintaining operational accuracy, data integrity, and effective coordination across Wisayah’s investment value chain.

The Associate works across External Investment Operations, Internal Trade Operations, and Data Management to ensure high‑quality execution of daily activities, adherence to controls, and timely resolution of issues.

• Coordinate instructions and communications with trustees, custodians, and external managers.
• Manage client and investment registers.
• Support asset and cash transfer processes, including subscriptions and redemptions.
• Oversee securities lending, transition management operations, and custodian account opening/closing.
• Validate fee calculations and ensure correct booking.
• Support oversight of Defined Contribution Plans, including investment option monitoring and manager assessments.
• Help improve and update operational processes through regular rotation and review.
• Assist in new product launches, system enhancements, and other operational projects.
• Escalate issues in a timely manner and maintain communication with service providers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0-10 years of experience in investment management or financial services.
• Background in custodial services, banking operations, or pension/SWF environments is beneficial.
