Our Middle East Assurance practice includes over 2,300 people based in 12 countries across the region and is part of PwC’s global network that is operating worldwide. PwC Middle East’s Assurance practice combines the right mix of human-led and tech powered solutions to provide our clients with quality audits and other risk services that create confidence and impact in our region and across society.

Business Unit Overview:
In financial operations at PwC, you will focus on managing financial processes and confirming compliance with regulations. You will handle tasks such as financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management.

How You’ll Contribute

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team, drive meaningful impact, and grow professionally. As a Finance Operation Senior Associate, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, management reports, and other financial deliverables in compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, or local accounting standards.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Assisting clients in implementing and improving financial controls, policies, and accounting procedures.
  • Providing accounting advisory support, including complex technical accounting matters and transaction-related services.
  • Working closely with audit teams, tax specialists, and other advisory groups to address client needs.
  • Supporting the implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior team members, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
  • Leveraging financial and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, etc.) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
What You’ll Bring

You are ambitious and you utilize opportunities to grow and develop. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following characteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably within a Big Four firm or a corporate accounting function.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and local reporting requirements.
  • Experience with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in managing client relationships and leading teams.
  • Experience working with clients in industries such as financial services, technology, healthcare, or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, having the ability to prioritize workload whilst being resilient and able to cope well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

    Skills:

    Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Fluent in English but multilingual Arabic speaker preferable.
