Drone Pilot

Responsibilities

• Pilot in command of the projects related to surveying/inspection/3
  
  Rd party payload and various other drone operations.
• Ensure the safety of all Drone flights and activities as per SOPs.
• Plan Drone flights missions for various activities.
• Conduct R&D for the new technology or for the customized solutions.
• Ensure all Drone operations are conducted as per the defined Quality Standards.
• Act as a focal point of communication between client and the Operations Manager.
• Prepare checklists, inspect all equipment and documents before each flight.
• Keep track of flight logs, individual flying hours, and any additional data.
• Ensure all UAV’s equipment are inspected as per the maintenance cycle.
• Make sure that all captured/collected data is saved and managed as per company standards.
• Prepare project final reports and submit them to the Operations Manager.
• Keep track of the latest trends in the Drone industry.
• Fly both fixed wings/multi-rotors of commercial & enterprise series.
• Utilize various payloads for various applications either built-in or 3rd party including LiDAR, UV/IR Cameras, Multi/Hyperspectral sensors, GPR, UT Sensors etc.
• Will be able to communicate GEOSA/GACA Monitors whenever needed.
• Conduct Data Processing/QA/QC whenever required.

• Possesses a good track record of successful delivery of drone related projects.
• GACA-P107 is preferred with valid license.
• Must have knowledge of aviation safety protocols.
• Strong ability and willingness to learn from experience, adapt and embrace new situations.
• Being open to new experiences, people, and information.
• Desire to excel and grow new skills.
• Take responsibility for delivering intended outcomes.

• Familiarity with Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, Reality Capture, Global mapper, Auto Cad,3D Max and other Data Processing tools.
• Must be physically fit for the job.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Train/mentor junior pilots whenever needed.
• Good technical/software knowledge is a plus and repair any hardware if needed.
• Willingness to travel for missions within Saudi Arabia.
• Open minded, collaborative, and passionate mindset.

• At least a bachelor’s degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Robotics, Engineering, or any other related fields.
• More than 5 years of experience in UAV flying for O&G, Energy, Utilities, Renewable and Surveying sectors.
