The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, execution, testing, and optimization of acoustic treatments, conducting site measurements, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective integration of acoustic systems within project constraints.
Requirements QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Acoustical Engineering, Architectural Engineering
, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of professional experience in acoustic design, soundproofing, or related fields.
Strong understanding of international acoustic standards and principles.
Proficiency in acoustic simulation and measurement tools.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to prepare clear technical reports and maintain structured project documentation.
Portfolio showcasing previous acoustic projects (drawings, site photos, reports).
Certification or formal training in acoustic analysis and simulation software.
Acoustic Systems & Materials
Implement and support Box‑to‑Box acoustic insulation systems
, with a strong understanding of their application in environments such as meeting rooms, studios, and commercial spaces.Work with a wide range of acoustic and soundproofing materials, including but not limited to:
Rockwool (Mineral Wool)
Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV)
Resilient Channels
Double Layer Gypsum Systems
Provide design input and technical recommendations based on the performance and properties of various acoustic products, including:
Acoustic Panels
Suspended Acoustic Baffles
Wood Wool Panels
PET (Polyester) Panels
Conduct on‑site acoustic measurements before and after installation
, including:RT60 (Reverberation Time) measurements
Background Noise Level testing
Utilize acoustic simulation and analysis software such as:
EASE
Odeon
Insul
SoundPLAN
CATT‑Acoustic
Identify, analyze, and address both airborne sound and structure‑borne sound
, applying targeted and effective solutions for each.Apply and interpret acoustic performance standards, including:
STC (Sound Transmission Class) – for sound insulation between spaces
NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) – for sound absorption within a space
Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to integrate acoustic treatments without impacting other systems.
Investigate and resolve post‑construction acoustic complaints
, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including:
