Senior Electrical Engineer, part of the Electrical Engineering department, performing the electrical engineering design activities in accordance with project requirements, within the time schedule and complying with applicable codes and specifications.

• Analyze and interpret client’s technical documentation, standards, and requirements for electrical systems and equipment; define electrical engineering requirements.
• Prepare project design criteria for the electrical system.
• Develop designs for power generation, power distribution, grounding, lighting, and other associated electrical systems.
• Perform electrical system calculations and studies (e.g. power demand, load flow, short circuit, transient stability, motor starting).
• Prepare relay and metering schemes, protective relays coordination study, and setting tables.
• Define functional philosophies for the electrical control system (power management, synchronization, load shedding) and control system architecture.
• Prepare technical documentation (specifications, data sheets) for main electrical equipment including Transformers, Generators, Motors (MV/LV), Switchgear (HV 230kV / MV 13.8kV / LV), MCC, UPS, and DC Charger.
• Develop electrical plant layouts (cable routing, grounding and lighting) and substation arrangements.
• Perform power cable sizing calculations.
• Define typical installation details, bulk materials selection, and generate MTOs.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for electrical equipment and materials, evaluate vendor technical offers, ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications.
• Review and verify vendor deliverables, including drawings, datasheets, and technical documents to ensure alignment with project, safety, and client requirements.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Background: 10 years of electrical engineering experience in an engineering office.
• Languages: Fluent speaking and writing in English.
• Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards is an advantage; experience with AutoCAD, Micro Station, ETAP, DIALux.
• Travel: Some travelling to sites within Saudi Arabia expected.
