The Fire Alarm Engineer will be primarily required to offer your expertise in areas related to fire protection engineering including fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, and fire protection strategies across the Jensen Hughes projects in Al Khobar. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment and advance your career within a supportive and diverse team.
This role while based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia and will have assigned responsibilities for projects across Middle East.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and direct design activities for your own projects.
- Design fire alarm and mass notification systems.
- Designing, installation, commissioning, on site testing & inspection of multiple systems including fire alarms, fire suppression systems (FM 200, foam, wet etc.)
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, design drawings and presentations.
- Mentor and collaborate with other local team members.
- Review design and construction submittals for compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform site surveys to inspect and evaluate building features and systems including emergency lighting and exit signs.
- Interface with authorities having jurisdiction and manage client meetings.
- Effectively communicate with project team members, clients, and others.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in code consulting and/or fire protection system design services with specific experience related to fire alarms design and mass notification systems.
- Engineering qualification in the field of Electrical or Electronics preferred.
- Highly motivated and ready to work in all aspects of fire protection engineering including fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, and fire protection strategies.
- Able to prepare technical reports, specifications, design drawings and presentations.
- Able to review design and construction submittals for compliance with regulatory requirements
- Able to perform site surveys to inspect and evaluate building features and systems.
- Able to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders, multitasking on projects across the Middle East.
